Hurricane Helene Update

Hurricane Helene Update – Friday, September 27 at 9:56 a.m. ET

A Message from the Executive Director

Dear Residents and Family Members,

Hurricane Helene has passed by the Punta Gorda area. I am very proud to say that as a community, we fared well.

We are in the process of cleaning up landscaping and other debris today.

Most importantly, there were no injuries to residents or staff to report, of which I am most thankful.

I want to say a huge “thank you” to our associates for their commitment to our residents and the operation of our community. It is evident that our residents are the top priority for our staff, and we are so grateful to be able to serve each of you daily.
Currently, there is no phone service in the area and therefore no inbound or outbound phone service at South Port Square. Please call the LCS hotline at 888-214-8464 for emergency issues only.

Thank you all for your patience and cooperation as we operated through this emergency. We are thankful to have you as a part of our community.

Respectfully and thankfully,

Brian Hess
Executive Director
